The first land (33 acres) was purchased in 1982 from the University of Miami. After zoning and construction we opened
in January 1984. Most of the construction was done by the Paddack family and their employees from Indiana.
An additional 11 acres was purchased in 1988 adding 51 more lots, bringing the total to the present size.
